Following the success of the pilot project that was launched in Antwerp last September, Manus has now rolled out a new project involving refugees in Mechelen.
In collaboration with the local Public Centre for Social Welfare (OCMW), a number of motivated refugees were enrolled in an intensive training programme. At present, a total of 11 refugees are involved in the project. It is a pleasure to witness the enthusiasm they bring to their daily tasks as a domestic help or working in renovation or for the public space department.
Thanks to Manus, Nuur, Muradian, Awet and Tiamir are just a few of our new workers preparing for a new career.
